Maisie Goodnight’s Three Stories from the Edge of the World

“Three Told from a Passing Place” is a solo shadow puppet show by Maisie Goodnight, told through overhead projector, crankie theater, cello, and song.

It is an offering of three new folk tales for fellow siblings of the in-between. It is a spell-casting to care for our immediate future-selves to keep growing as we break things down. It is a summoning and celebration of our mythologized bodies and lives.

What happens when an artist reckons with their power to stop the world? How long can two shapeshifters chase a shared illusion? What truly matters in the revolution of one year?
