Stop Puppeting Yourself Puppet Co. is a Portland, Maine based puppetry ensemble founded by Elliot Nye. They are dedicated to continuous exploration and experimentation in puppetry and live performance in relation to image and media consciousness, attention span, and theatrical possibility in an evil world.

Stop Puppeting Yourself seeks to build community experiences through puppet magic combined with retrograde technological experiments, theatre of cruelty-style awareness of the total sensory and contextual reality of a performance, rough image, and defiance towards the pacing and clarity of current popular media.

They love puppets, projectors, onstage tech, bald guys, and experimentation.
